Range Safety Video

You can save time by watching this range safety video before arrival.  Our insurance company makes it mandatory to provide a safety video that is required before range entry.
You can also pre-sign the waiver at the bottom of the page so you don’t have to wait in the store!

Ages Allowed In Shooting Range

  • Patrons 18-21 years old are allowed to shoot their own handguns with their own ammunition.  We are not allowed to sell or rent a handgun or handgun ammunition to anyone under 21 by federal law.
  • Customers 21 and up may purchase or shoot anything we sell.
  • Minor children may shoot, 8 years old and up when accompanied by a family member over 21, guardian, or are supervised by a club, such as Boy Scouts of America or similar.
  • Children must be within arms reach of a parent or other caretaker at all times, even if not shooting, for their safety and the safety of others, and are not allowed to wander in the range spaces.

Maximum Customers Per Lane

2 customers maximum per lane.  Groups larger than 2 will be required to purchase and occupy another lane, or group members must remain outside the range and swap places with another person.  This is to keep the range from crowding, which is detrimental to safety.

General Range Rules

  • Please wear your eye and ear protection at all times while inside the range. If you must take them off please exit the range before doing so.
  • No loaded firearms are allowed outside of the shooting lane or behind the line.
  • Do not shoot above or below the targets. Results in damaged range equipment may result in repair fines and/or removal from the range.
  • No tracers or armor-piercing ammunition. This includes green tip 5.56.  It damages our bullet trap.
  • No buckshot, no bird shot, only slugs in shotguns.
  • No black powder.
  • Rapid fire is fine if you are safe.  Please notify a range officer if intending to shoot binary triggers or machine guns so there is no surprise.  If you cannot rapid-fire while keeping your rounds on target, you’ll be asked to stop.
  • We aren’t the ATF, we don’t check your tax stamps, and neither should anyone else.
  • If you see an unsafe action, notify the RSO (Range Safety Officer) immediately.
  • No food, drinks, or tobacco (including e-cigarettes) products are allowed within the range.
  • Any firearms not in active use need to be laid on the table pointed down range with open actions.
  • Barrels, even on unloaded firearms, must be pointed downrange at all times.
  • Fingers must be fully off of triggers until the shooter is ready to actually shoot.
  • In the event of a malfunction, the customer may clear it if they feel comfortable, but absolutely must keep the barrel pointed safely.  If a customer experiences difficulty or has anxiety about attempting to clear their firearm, they may lay their gun on the bench, barrel pointed downrange, and notify a range officer.

    Gun Range Safety

Please make sure you review these safety precautions before coming to our range. Violating any of these safety precautions or rules may result in serious injury, range fines, and removal from our range.

    • Always treat a firearm as if it is loaded
    • Always keep your firearm pointed down range in a safe direction
    • Your gun must always be unloaded and cased when leaving and entering the range. Your gun may only be loaded when in the range in front of the line.
    • Any alcohol or drug use is prohibited prior to entering the range. If suspected of either one of these, you may be asked to leave the range immediately.
    • Never place the finger on the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
    • Respect others at all times during your time at the range. Please be mindful of how long your range session is, as some people may be waiting for an open lane.
    • If you hear the command “CEASE FIRE” from any staff member or shooter, please place your firearm on the bench pointed down range and move to the back to await further instructions.
